ABOUT ALEXIS GARRETT DESIGN
We are a San Diego-based Interior Design firm that specializes in start-to-finish projects.
We practice the craft of interior design, executing a creative process with skills hard-earned, developing bespoke schemes and solutions that enhance lives and create lasting value. We aim for an approachable but refined finished product – a buttoned-up-but-casual style, built to stand the scrutiny of time, and tailored for people and place.
From concept through construction, we advise on every aspect of a project. Our process and team come alongside owners before or immediately after a property is acquired, developing a look-and-feel most appropriate for the site and the objectives of the owners, and translating those to a design vision, CAD and 3D renderings. We work through the build phases, refining designs, solving inevitable design and spatial challenges, and selecting, purchasing and overseeing the installation of finishes and fixtures. And we orchestrate the grand finale, install, when our clients transition into a beautiful new space that reflects their life and style.
We apply most of our energy on residential ground-up builds for custom homes in Rancho Santa Fe, Del Mar and Solana Beach, but also take on selective projects in retail, hospitality, dining, and project-based consulting on a limited basis.

ABOUT ALEXIS GARRETT:
Before establishing her company, Alexis earned stripes in commercial real estate design and in the trenches of a revered interior design firm, becoming fluent in the nuts and bolts while laying down her own aesthetic foundation.
A fifth-generation San Diegan, Alexis instinctively interprets “early California” into projects, be it Santa Barbara-style residences or contemporary farmhouses. With found treasures, layered fabrics and unexpected whimsy (repurposed roller rink floors, vintage surfboards) all of her homes are created uniquely for families to flourish.
